Frequency body extends use of 3.5 GHz range for operators for 1 yr

MOSCOW, Jun 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s State Radio Frequency Commission has extended the permits for the frequencies within the 3.5 GHz range for connection operators to organize access to the Internet till July 1, 2022, the Digital Development Ministry said on Thursday in a statement.

All the operators that earlier received the permits are to transfer the subscribers to other ranges by the deadline.

The previous decision of the commission as of March 10, 2011 was in force for 10 years.
